PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical display device including a touch panel laminate, using a polarizing film having a thickness of 10 μm or less with high optical characteristics.SOLUTION: The optical display device comprises a continuous web-like polarizing film including polyvinyl alcohol resin in which a dichroic substance is oriented. A laminate including the polyvinyl alcohol resin layer deposited on an amorphous ester-based thermoplastic resin substrate includes the polarizing film which has a thickness of 10 μm or less, and is configured to have optical characteristics satisfying the conditions: P>-(10-1)×100, where T<42.3, and P≥99.9, where T≥42.3 when single transmittance is denoted by T and a degree of polarization is denoted by P. A retardation film is bonded to the polarizing film, and the retardation film is bonded to the laminate. |
