PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a computer tomography apparatus for medical treatment for a region of the limbs of a patient.SOLUTION: A computer tomography apparatus for medical treatment includes a support structure part which supports an O-type arm 2 being an annular structure having an annular outer cover. The O-type arm 2 supports imaging means including a radiation source 21 and a receiver 22 of image information. The cross section of the outer cover of the O-type arm 2 in a direction vertical to the center axis of the annular structure is made into a substantially circular shape in the larger part thereof and has a cut-off part. The imaging means is configured to move in the O-type arm 2 in different distances from the rotation center. In the annular structure, the movement range of the radiation source 21 is configured not to reach a region where the cut-off part of the outer cover is formed among regions of the annular structure, and the movement range of the receiver 22 of image information is configured not to reach a region where the extension part of an examination opening part 4 is arranged among the regions of the annular structure. |
