PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of enhancing brightness of red color phosphor, nitride (SCASN) fluophor containing CaAlSiNactivated with Eu, Sr and Ca.SOLUTION: There is provided a phosphor capable of absorbing light in a range from ultraviolet to visible light and emitting light having a light-emitting peak wave length in a range of 600 to 650 nm, having a composition represented by the following formula and difference between the light-emitting peak wave length and a half width of more than 543 nm. SrCaEuAlSiN(0.5≤t<1, 0<v≤0.5, 0.01<w≤0.03, t+v+w<1, 0.90≤x≤1.1, 0.90≤y≤1.1 and 2.5≤z≤3.5) There is provided a phosphor having an average particle diameter of 5 to 20 μm, the oxygen content of 0.5 to 2.0 wt.%, the half width of 79 nm or less when a light-emitting peak wave length is 610 to 625 nm and 90 nm or less when 625 to 635 nm. |
