FIELD: process engineering.SUBSTANCE: invention discloses reinforcing preset-length tape and method of its production. This tape consists of multiple threads extending, in fact, parallel with tape length and polymer powder distributed there between. Tape every surface is connected with nonwoven material of polymer fibres. Proposed process comprises application of powder made of polymer material on at least one tape surface, preferably, on both. Then, heating is performed to partially soften the applied powder. Then, tape is compacted to correct its with to required magnitude. Portion of powder penetrates into said tape between threads and tape is cooled to fix its width to allow cohesion ability provided by powder.EFFECT: higher strength of composite articles.16 cl, 9 dwg |
