The arrangement has a motor housing (2) in which where a rotor (4) is arranged in a rotatable manner around an axis over bearings (6, 8). A stator (14) is arranged around the rotor with respect to the axis, and bearing flanges (10, 12) are accommodated in the respective bearings. The flanges are made of metal and comprise respective casing surfaces (101, 121) that are directly arranged adjacent to the housing. One of the flanges has a radial hole, and a hose element made of elastic material is arranged in the hole. A coupling pin connects the arrangement with a dental hand piece. An independent claim is also included for a dental instrument comprising a housing and an instrument part.
