The present invention relates to a sea boring work, and specifically, to an apparatus and a method for injecting a gas into a wellbore for improving productivity. The apparatus for injecting a gas into a wellbore comprise a separator separating at least one part of a gas among oil and the gas produced in the well bore; a compressor compressing the gas separated by the separator, and supplying the gas to an annulus; and a device injecting the gas to the wellbore including a gas lift valve injecting the gas supplied to the annulus to a production pipe.
