<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact drain trap which has a self-purification action and which prevents garbage, grime and foreign matter from being accumulated or bonded into a bottle trap. <P>SOLUTION: An inflow pipe 1 having a lower end closed, and an outflow pipe 2 having an upper end closed are disposed in the state of being juxtaposed adjacently to each other. An inclined pipe 3, which has an opening connected to a lower part of the inflow pipe 1, which spirals up on an outer peripheral surface of the outflow pipe 2 and which has an opening 11 connected to an upper part of the outflow pipe 2, is provided.
