<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To output a parameter having a direction and an amount on the basis of input of an operation ("a stroke gesture") for drawing an appropriately circular arc stroke in a single touch by using a touch pad or the like. <P>SOLUTION: Circular arc recognition means 103 recognizes whether a line figure (a stroke) input in a predetermined unit time dt is a circular arc; and extracts the rotational direction of the line figure, if recognizing the figure as a circular arc, and extracts "a value equivalent to the angular velocity of the line figure" on the basis of the central angle of the recognized circular arc.
