<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a uniform anodic oxide film improved in hardness and corrosion resistance even on an aluminum metallic component having such a precise shape (and/or complicated shape) as having a narrowed recess, an interior of fine pore and the like. <P>SOLUTION: A method for forming an anodic oxide film includes lowering an application current to a low current having the value of 40-95% of the application current from 3-60 minutes before the completion of current application in an anodization process.
