<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply and at low cost record how a hydraulic damper has operated for several decades when external force such as an earthquake acts on a structure such as a building to generate displacement between layers.SOLUTION: A marking plate is provided in a cylinder of a hydraulic damper body. The axial direction of a piston rod of a piston provided in a first cylinder operating in conjunction with pressure fluctuation of hydraulic oil in the cylinder of the hydraulic damper body is arranged so as to be orthogonal to the axial direction of the cylinder and piston rod of the hydraulic damper body. A marking needle is provided in the piston rod of the first cylinder. The marking plate and the marking needle are arranged so as to contact with each other.</p> |
