<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing apparatus, an image processing method, and a computer program capable of generating an image rich in design property in which a part of the background is transparent.SOLUTION: A CPU applies transparent processing to a person image in accordance with a person alpha data of the person image and applies transparent processing to a foreground image in accordance with a foreground alpha data of the foreground image. The CPU generates a composite image by using the person image and the foreground image having undergone the transparent processing and a background image. The CPU generates composite alpha data in the generated composite image by using background alpha data of the background image, the foreground alpha data, and masking data for processing the person alpha data. The CPU applies the transparent processing to the generated composite image in accordance with the generated composite alpha data.</p> |
