<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seat frame and a retractable seat for a vehicle of good operability in storing operation. <P>SOLUTION: A seat frame F provided to a vehicle retractable seat S in which a seat frame 4 and a seat back frame 5 are stored in folded state includes a first energizing member 12 which energizes the seat back frame 5 along a first direction, in the rotational direction of the seat back frame 4, a first engagement member 32, a second energizing member 61 which energizes the seat back frame 5 along a second direction which is the direction opposite to the first direction, and a second engagement member 62. Until the seat back frame 5 reaches a predetermined position by rotating along the first direction, the first energizing member 12 energizes the seat back frame 5 along the first direction while being engaged with the first engagement member 32.
