<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To further speed up data conversion processing. <P>SOLUTION: A printer 20, an image converting part 56 enables generation of xRGB data 70 in which a pixel at the top of an full-white pixel line and a pixel at the border between a colored pixel and a white pixel of a pixel line contained in image data are associated with Null flags. Then, a line acquisition unit 61 acquires pixels for each pixel line from the xRGB data 70 and outputs acquired pixel values thereof, but, if the Null flag is associated with the acquired pixel, eliminates output of the white pixel adjacent to the pixel 77 with the flag. Then, the output pixel values are converted to pixel values of print data 74 by a data conversion correcting process. In this manner, the data conversion correcting process is omitted also for the pixel lines containing colored pixels in addition to the all-white pixel lines. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
