<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing an SMS blue light emitting phosphor especially suitable for vacuum ultraviolet light excitation at wavelengths of 146 nm and 172 nm. <P>SOLUTION: This SMS blue light emitting phosphor is produced by calcining a mixture including an Sr source powder, an Mg source powder, Si source powder and an Eu source powder, wherein the Sr source powder which includes SrCO<SB POS="POST">3</SB>and SrBr<SB POS="POST">2</SB>in a molar ratio in a range from 99.9:0.1 to 95:5 is used. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
