<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric vehicle system capable of easily determining insulation soundness on an upper circuit on a pantograph side from a high-speed circuit breaker of a power converter. <P>SOLUTION: The electric vehicle system includes: a power converter to which power is supplied from a wire via a current collector and a bus and which converts the power into AC power suitable for motor driving and has a current breaker connected to the bus at a power input end; an insulation resistance detecting means measuring insulation resistance between a minus terminal on a DC side of the power converter and the bus; and an insulation resistance soundness determining means determining that a short circuit is generated between the minus terminal on the DC side of the power converter and the bus when an insulation resistance value measured by the insulation resistance detecting means is lower than a predetermined threshold. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
