<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rice cooker which highly accurately senses room temperature and has reduced manufacturing cost. <P>SOLUTION: The rice cooker 100 includes a container body 200, a lid 300, and an operation part 400. The container body 200 is provided with an opening used for storing an inner pot 220. The lid 300 freely openably/closably covers the opening of the container body 200. The operation part 400 is provided in the lid 300. The operation part 400 has a board 430, a control panel 410, and a room temperature sensor 431. The control panel 410 covers the board 430. The room temperature sensor 431 is mounted on the board 430. The control panel 410 has an embossed part 411. The room temperature sensor 431 is disposed opposite to the control panel 410.
