<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an anti-microorganism agent comprising 3,5-dihydroxy-2-menthenyl stilbene, a plant extract containing the above compound, and a bactericidal antibacterial agent as active ingredients, and to provide an application such as an oral composition in which the anti-microorganism agent is compounded. <P>SOLUTION: The anti-microorganism agent is composed of: 3,5-dihydroxy-2-menthenyl stilbene (A), 3,5-dihydroxy-2-menthenyl stilbene (A) and 3,5-dihydroxy stilbene (B), or an extract of Lindera umbellata or its subspecies containing 3,5-dihydroxy-2-menthenyl stilbene (A) by 1 mass% or more in the solid content of the extract and/or 3,5-dihydroxy stilbene (B) by 1 mass% or more in the solid content; and a bactericidal antibacterial agent.
