<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To more effectively control the power consumption of a home appliance connected to a controller. <P>SOLUTION: A controller 100 includes: a communication interface 105 for communicating with plural home appliances; a memory 101 for storing an upper limit value 1011 of power consumption for each of plural users; and a processor 110 for totaling the power consumption of each of the plural users by obtaining operation information from the plural home appliances via the communication interface and controlling the plural home appliances via the communication interface so that the total of the power consumption of each of the plural users does not exceed the upper limit value of the power consumption for each of the plural users. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
