<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat exchanger capable of preventing the formation of a clearance gap between a first member and a second member configuring header bodies in assembling. <P>SOLUTION: Two headers 5, 6 arranged in the ventilating direction are composed of the header bodies 21, 22 opened at both ends, and caps 23, 24 for closing both end openings of the header bodies. The header bodies have first and second members 25, 26. Two caps arranged in the ventilating direction are integrally disposed on one end member 48 by connecting sections 49, 51. The caps are composed of peripheral walls 23a, 24a along outer peripheral faces of the first and second members of the header bodies, and closing walls 23b, 24b integrally formed on the peripheral walls and closing the end openings of the header bodies.
