<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for bright annealing various kinds of duplex stainless steel in a stable, continuous and easy manner by preventing nitrogen from being released from the surface of the duplex stainless steel and being absorbed thereinto. <P>SOLUTION: The method for bright annealing duplex stainless steel containing 0.16-0.32 mass% of nitrogen is characterized by annealing the duplex stainless steel at the temperature of 1,030-1,100°C for 20-120 seconds of annealing time in a hydrogen gas atmosphere. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
