摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wave measuring method using ultrasonic waves which can perform measurement with high accuracy even when waves are high. <P>SOLUTION: The method acquires the height of waves by transmitting ultrasonic waves in the sea from first and second ultrasonic transceivers 2 and 4 provided below sea level of a marine structure 1 and a buoy 3 arranged at sea level, receiving ultrasonic waves from three sound wave repeaters 5 arranged below sea level, respectively detecting distances between the wave sound repeaters and the both ultrasonic transceivers on the basis of a one-way propagation time of the ultrasonic waves and calculating difference between both distance data, extracting a short cycle fluctuation component by performing high-pass filter processing of the difference, creating in each of the sound wave repeaters a ternary linear equation that an expression, in which the displacement of a three-dimensional coordinate axis of a relative displacement vector between the both ultrasonic transceivers with the azimuth and depression angle of the ultrasonic transceivers to the sound wave repeaters as coefficients is unknown, is equal to the extracted short cycle fluctuation component, and solving the ternary linear simultaneous equation to calculate the displacement of the short cycle fluctuation component in a height direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p>
