The invention concerns a device (100) for transmitting data comprising a satellite transmitter (1) installed on a transport means (10) likely to transport goods and a base (20), said transmitter (1) being capable of transmitting geolocation data from this transport means (10) to the base (20) via a satellite positioning system (30), characterised in that the device comprises: - at least one sensor (2, 200, 201) arranged to provide data relative to the transported goods, said sensor being installed on the transport means (10); - a centre for acquiring and processing data (3) measured by said at least one sensor (2, 200, 201), said centre also being installed on the transport means (10); - an interfacing housing (4) installed between the centre for acquiring and processing data (3) and the satellite transmitter (1), said housing comprising at least one switch (141, 142); the satellite transmitter (1) comprising one or a plurality of processors capable of implementing a script for managing the operation of the satellite transmitter (1) and the interfacing housing (4) in order to transmit, to the base (20), data regarding the transported goods that is provided by said at least one sensor (2, 200, 201). |
