Length measuring device has a glider unit (6) and a scale which gages and generates a position measurement. The attachment planar (23) in attachment line section (21) in the range of attachment apertures (25) are arranged in the measuring direction (x). Between two attachment line section in relation to the attachment planar a planar range (24) is available and it not get effected when mounting takes place.
