<p>The web (10) has a waterproof, water vapor-permeable sealing layer (14) arranged on a support layer (12) and made of thermoplastic polyurethane. A thickness (24) of the sealing layer is measured such that the web is connected with another homogenous ceiling web by thermal welding and/or solvent welding in a waterproof and water vapor- permeable manner. A connecting strip (16) is provided along an edge (15) of the support layer and projects over the edge. The thickness of the sealing layer is in the range of 0.1-0.15 millimeters.
