<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for controlling an operation object device in a vehicle allowing the operation object device to be operated without separating a hand from a holding part nor largely shifting the hand. <P>SOLUTION: A sensor data generation part 22 generates sensor data based on a contact detection signal obtained from a touch sensor 21 mounted to a holding part of a steering wheel. A detection part 10a detects, based on the sensor data, whether a driver holds the holding part, and an input operation to the touch sensor 21. A control part 10 controls an operation object device in accordance with a specific input operation when it is detected that the driver holds the holding part, and it is detected that the specific input operation is performed to the touch sensor 21.
