<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seat frame and a seat which are made light, while securing sufficient strength. <P>SOLUTION: The seat frame 10 constituting the backrest part of the seat 1 includes: a headrest attaching part 12 to which a headrest part H of the seat 1 is attached; a connection part attaching part 13 to which a connection part R for connecting a seat part 3 to the backrest part 2 of the seat 1 is attached; a first beam 22 which linearly connects the headrest mounting part 12 to the connection mounting part 13. In the seat frame 10, strength of the seat frame 10 is efficiently secured using a small number of materials by providing the first beam 22 that linearly connects the headrest mounting 12 to the connection mounting part 13.
