[Class 40 (v)] A plastic radio cabinet comprises a pair of open box-shaped members A, B. The meeting edges A5 are formed to locate each other, the members being held together by bolts S which enter nuts A6 moulded into the part A. The radio chassis RR is provided with support straps locating in grooves formed in the cabinet, to which it is attached by screws A8, B3. Apertures B1 formed in the rear wall allow for ventilation. In a mainsdriven set a safety switch is arranged to break the mains supply circuit when the rear member B is removed.</p> |
