The present invention relates to layered micro-filtration material exhibiting high trapping efficiency of microorganisms and fine particles wherein the layered micro-filtration material of the present invention contains at least one nanostructured filtration layer and at least one layer of backing bearing material. The invention is characterized in that the active nanostructured filtration layer, being prepared from very fine fibers with diameter in the range of 40 to 920 nm, is coupled with the backing supporting material layer by a discontinuous system (from the point of limited penetration into coupled structures of view) of coupling points, formed from melt adhesive micro-drops and/or coupling lines formed from fused-on parts of a multilayer grid and/or coupling lines formed from fused-on parts of a multicomponent layer of the very fine fibers. |
