1. A method performed by a server, the method comprising:
creating, at the server, a location sensitive trigger for an event to occur in response to a wireless electronic device being within a predetermined range of a type of geographical location authorized to repair an automobile, wherein the wireless electronic device is a programmable device and is in communication with the server; receiving, by the server from the wireless electronic device, positioning data indicating that the wireless electronic device is within a predetermined range of a particular geographical location that is of a type authorized to service the automobile, wherein the positioning data is determined by the wireless electronic device; receiving, by the server from the wireless electronic device, a current condition of the automobile, wherein the wireless electronic device is in communication with the automobile; triggering, by the server, a new location sensitive trigger based on the current condition of the automobile indicating the automobile needs to be serviced and the positioning data indicating that the wireless electronic device is within the predetermined range of the particular geographical location; and sending, by the server, a notification of the triggered new location sensitive trigger to the wireless electronic device. |
