The present invention relates to isolated polypeptides having glucoamylase activity and isolated polynucleotides encoding the polypeptides. The invention also relates to nucleic acid constructs, vectors, and host cells comprising the polynucleotides as well as methods of producing and using the polypeptides.

1. A process of producing a fermentation product comprising:
(a) liquefying a starch-containing material by contacting the starch-containing material with an alpha-amylase; (b) saccharifying the liquefied material with a polypeptide having glucoamylase activity selected from the group consisting of: (a) a polypeptide comprising an amino acid sequence having at least 95% identity to the mature polypeptide of SEQ ID NO: 2, of SEQ ID NO: 4 or of SEQ ID NO: 6; (b) a polypeptide comprising an amino acid sequence having at least 95% identity to the catalytic domain shown as amino acids 22 to 476 of SEQ ID NO: 2, of SEQ ID NO: 4 or of SEQ ID NO: 6; (c) a polypeptide encoded by a polynucleotide comprising a nucleotide sequence having at least 95% identity to the mature polypeptide coding sequence of SEQ ID NO: 1, of SEQ ID NO: 3 or of SEQ ID NO: 5; and (d) fermenting with a fermenting organism.
