<p>The present invention relates to a smart key system and a method to operate the same. The smart key system comprises: a communication unit sending an LF signal to a peripheral area of a vehicle, and receiving an RF signal corresponding to the same; a certification unit confirming an existence of a certification smart key previously registered around the vehicle; and a control unit preventing the LF signal from being sent though the communication unit in case a vehicle control signal is inputted in a state of not confirming the existence of the certification smart key around the vehicle.</p> |
