摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer with a print head that can be processed using a high density printhead design with a nozzle spacing that enables lower-cost processing methods.SOLUTION: A printhead includes a plurality of actuators 10, and each actuator of the plurality of actuators includes a plurality of drive electrodes 20A-20C, a plurality of diaphragms 18A-18C, and a single nozzle 14. Each drive electrode is uniquely paired with one of the diaphragms. The printhead is configured such that all drive electrodes for a single actuator activate simultaneously to eject ink from the single nozzle, or such that each drive electrode of the plurality of drive electrodes for a single actuator are individually addressable and may activate independently of the other drive electrodes of the single actuator.
