PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently exhaust a high-temperature heat generated from a fixing device to the outside of an apparatus.SOLUTION: A printer 1 includes: a photoreceptor drum 2 having a surface on which a toner image is developed; a transfer roller 8 that is in contact with the photoreceptor drum 2 to hold a sheet, thereby transferring the toner image to the sheet; a fixing device 9 that heats the sheet to which the toner image has been transferred to melt a toner that forms the toner image and fixes the toner image to the sheet by thermal compression bond; and a duct frame 55 that is laid between two side plates 70L and 70R arranged opposite to each other, arranged immediately above the fixing device 9, and opens to a lower face. The duct frame 55 has an upper inner surface 55a that is inclined in a short direction of the duct frame 55, and the upper inner face 55a is provided, at an upper end of the incline, with an opening 55b exhausting a heat 100 generated from the fixing device 9 to the outside of the duct frame 55. |
