PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas-tight piston ring capable of suppressing blow-by of combustion gas in a region where first and second tongue portions do not overlap each other, and improving durability.SOLUTION: A piston ring comprises: a body section 10a extending along a circumferential direction around an axis CL; a first tongue portion 12 extending from one end to the other end of the body section 10a, located radially outward of the body section 10a, and including a fitting groove extending along the circumferential direction to one side in a direction along the axis CL; and a second tongue portion 13 extending from the other end to one end and fitted into the fitting groove, thereby forming an abutment portion 11 together with the first tongue portion 12, outer circumferential surfaces 12d and 13d of the first tongue portion 12 and the second tongue portion 13 being formed into barrel shapes swollen radially outward, respectively. |
