<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an AC/DC converter capable of performing highly efficient conversion operation by suppressing power factor decrease.SOLUTION: An AC/DC converter includes a plurality of rectifying and smoothing circuits connected in parallel. The AC/DC converter includes first switching means capable of turning electrical connection, of an AC power supply connected with the input side and at least a first rectifying and smoothing circuit, on/off. The AC/DC converter includes second switching means capable of turning electrical connection, of a load connected with the output side and at least the first rectifying and smoothing circuit, on/off. The first rectifying and smoothing circuit is included in the plurality of rectifying and smoothing circuits.</p> |
