<p>A method for calculating passage velocities in link sections includes the steps of: receiving car driving information including the position of a car from the car; performing map matching of calculating the position on a link of a road set on a map, corresponding to the car position information, from the received car position information; calculating a passage time of the car in a link section; and calculating a passage velocity of the car in the link section. The method of the present invention accurately reflects real traffic conditions and can be effectively used, and can also save communications costs since the method can be performed by using a small amount of data transmission.</p> |
