PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a luminous flux control member and an illumination device, which are capable of providing control to obtain desired light distribution characteristics, in X and Y directions orthogonal to each other on an irradiated surface, that is rotationally asymmetric in the X and Y directions and, when a predefined irradiation reference surface is irradiated with light, capable of arbitrarily controlling illuminance at four corners of a desired area from the center of the reference surface and securing sufficient illuminance compared to central illuminance.SOLUTION: A light distribution control member controls distribution of light emitted from a light-emitting element and includes; a polygonal pyramidal body 110 having an apex 10 facing the light-emitting element, sides 20 formed in end-spreading from the apex, and a bottom 30 which acts as a light exit surface; and a prism portion formed to surround an outer periphery of the polygonal pyramidal body. |
