PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inspection device and inspection method capable of appropriately and efficiently arranging multiple objects on an inspection table, and also to provide a program for allowing a computer to perform the inspection method.SOLUTION: An inspection device 1 includes: an inspection table 2 on which inspection targets T constituted by the aggregation of multiple solid medicines O are placed; an excitation part 3 for exciting the inspection table 2; an imaging part 4 for acquiring an image in a first direction along the inspection table 2 concerning the inspection targets T placed on the inspection table 2; and a control section 5 for determining the presence/absence of overlapping of the solid medicines O in the inspection targets T on the basis of inspection target information including appearance information of the medicines constituting the inspection targets T and the first directional image of the inspection targets T, and allowing the excitation part 3 to perform an operation when the presence of the overlapping of the solid medicines O is determined. |
