PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a merchandise file storage device and a program capable of confirming whether or not the update of merchandise data in a merchandise file has been normally performed before station opening.SOLUTION: A merchandise file storage device includes: a merchandise file for storing merchandise data; reception means for receiving update merchandise data distributed from a host machine; update means for updating the merchandise file by using the update merchandise data as the merchandise data, and for recording the update date as a time stamp in the merchandise file; station opening means for executing station opening processing of starting offline processing between an own device and the host machine; and update date printing means for outputting to a printer and printing the update date of the merchandise data recorded as the time stamp in the merchandise file when the station opening processing is executed by the station opening means. |
