PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To sufficiently and uniformly charge toner, to prevent toner scattering or image fog.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus 10 includes a developing apparatus 14 which develops a toner image on a photoreceptor drum 12. The developing apparatus includes first and second conveyance members 150 and 152 for agitating and conveying developer stored in a developer tank. The developer conveyed from the first conveyance member is supplied from the second conveyance member to a developing roller 154. The first conveyance member agitates the supplied new toner and carrier with the developer. In the second conveyance member, the developer having completed a development step and the developer agitated with the supplied new toner collide with each other oppositely. The new toner is mixed into the developer. |
