PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a demand control method and a demand control system for controlling power supply to an apparatus so that a maximum demand power value by an apparatus on the user side does not exceed a target value.SOLUTION: A demand control method including a target power value group composed of a plurality of target power values differing from each other includes the steps of: executing demand control in the case that a total power consumption value of apparatuses at a future time point predicted from a total power consumption value at a current time point within a demand time limit exceeds a target power value that is selected from the target power value group and set in advance; setting another target power value larger than the target power value set in advance instead of the target power value, when demand control continuing for a predetermined period or longer is executed the predetermined plural number of times within a plurality of predetermined demand time limits; and setting another target power value smaller than the target power value set in advance instead of the target power value, when no demand control continuing for the predetermined period or longer is executed within the plurality of predetermined demand time limits. |
