PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide electrical equipment which is arranged in a dwelling house or the like, can be suitably used by being connected to a controller for controlling operation of the electrical equipment in the dwelling house, and can be remotely operated by a remote control, and to provide the remote control.SOLUTION: A remote control operation system (50) has electrical equipment (200) and a remote control (300). The electrical equipment has notification means for notifying the remote control that the electrical equipment is performing power constraint operation. The electrical equipment or remote control has: determination means for determining whether or not power consumption of the electrical equipment is raised when the electrical equipment in power constraint operation executes operation in accordance with operation received by the remote control; and invalidation means for invalidating the operation received by the remote control when the determination means determines that power consumption of the electrical equipment is raised. The remote control has reporting means for reporting that the electrical equipment is performing power constraint operation in accordance with the notification from the electrical equipment. |
