<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To seal a wire terminal of non-circular cross-section reliably in a housing.SOLUTION: A seal member 40 is composed of an elastic material formed annularly and housed in a round wire insertion hole 38 formed in a connector housing 31, attached to the outer peripheral surface 23 side of a covered electric wire 20 of non-circular cross-section, and into which the covered electric wire 20 is inserted. The seal member 40 has a circular outer peripheral shape corresponding to the wire insertion hole 38, and has a non-circular through hole 41 corresponding to the covered electric wire 20, and a protrusion 43 extending in the circumferential direction is formed on the outer peripheral surface 42 thereof. Depending on the thickness D of the seal member 40 from the through hole 41 to the outer peripheral surface 42, the width W1 of the protrusion 43 is different so that the width W1 of the protrusion 43 is smaller at a part of thin thickness D than at a part of thick thickness D.</p> |
