PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a yaw control system and a yaw control method of a wind power generator, capable of accurately acquiring a yaw direction value even when a yaw direction sensor is abnormal.SOLUTION: A yaw control system of a wind power generator comprises: a yaw direction sensor 19 for detecting a current yaw direction value of a nacelle; a moving-amount calculation unit 35 for calculating a yaw rotation moving amount of the nacelle for a predetermined period on the basis of a yaw rotation velocity and yaw rotation time of the nacelle; a yaw-direction estimation unit 36 for calculating an estimation value of a yaw direction of the nacelle at the end of the predetermined period on the basis of the calculated yaw rotation moving amount and the yaw direction value at the start of the predetermined period; and a yaw drive control unit 32. The yaw drive control unit 32 is configured to determine a rotation direction of the nacelle so that the yaw direction value detected by the yaw direction sensor when the yaw direction sensor is normal falls within a specified range, and to determine the rotation direction of the nacelle so that the estimated value calculated by the yaw direction estimation unit when abnormality occurs to the yaw direction sensor falls within a specified range. |
