PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To collect measured data at a timing which is appropriate for a usage of measured data.SOLUTION: The information processing apparatus, which is connected for communication to a biometric device for inspecting a state of a living body, includes: a device information acquirer to acquire information on the biometric device; a device identifier to identify the biometric device on the basis of the information on the biometric device acquired by the device information acquirer; an intrinsic information acquirer to acquire intrinsic information indicating information on processes using the biometric device that corresponds to a destination of data indicating the state of the living body; an executor to execute control for transmitting timing control information that defines timings related to processes performed by the biometric device to the biometric device, on the basis of information indicating the biometric device identified by the device identifier and the intrinsic information acquired by the intrinsic information acquirer; and a data acquirer to acquire data after the processes performed by the biometric device depending on the timings defined in the timing control information.
