PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a polyhedra-target molecule complex, the polyhedra-target molecule complex, a protein which becomes a material for the polyhedra-target molecule complex, the protein, and a nucleic acid encoding the protein, targeting a virus, or a pathogen, which causes polyhedrosis to insects such as a silkworm, etc.SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing a polyhedra-target molecule complex includes: a first process of introducing to a cell a nucleic acid encoding a protein consisting of a specific amino acid sequence, or a nucleic acid encoding a protein having polyhedra-forming ability and consisting of an amino acid sequence made by deleting, substituting or adding one or more amino acids in the specific amino acid sequence; a second process of incubating the cell for a predetermined period of time after the first process; and a third process of further incubating the cell after the second process by adding a target molecule to a culture medium for the cell. There are provided the manufacturing method in which the target molecule is an organic substance, the polyhedra-target molecule complex, the protein, and the nucleic acid. |
