<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an on-vehicle communication device capable of reducing a processing load while securing safety when processing signals from a plurality of different communication systems.SOLUTION: An on-vehicle communication device comprises: receiving means 401 which receives signals from ground-based communication devices; processing means 403 which performs brake control of a train; and storage means 405 which records data. The processing means performs: a first task to decide presence or absence of brake output of the train on the basis of a train speed and a braking pattern; a second task to store received route information; and a third task to generate the braking pattern on the basis of a received stop limit and the route information. The on-vehicle communication device also has signal selection means which receives the signals from two different ground-based communication devices and which selects, among received signals, a first signal to be used for the brake output and a second signal not to be used for the same. The processing means omits a portion of a task on the basis of the second signal.</p> |
