PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production method that enables a composite particle having excellent oxidation resistance and also excellent conductivity to be produced simply and efficiently.SOLUTION: A method of producing a composite particle comprises a step of heating a solution comprising Al-Si alloy particles, Ag ions and polyol for the precipitation of Ag on the surface of the Al-Si alloy particles.
