PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cationic polymerizable resin composition containing a potential heat acid generator as a curing agent and having workability with elongated working life without inhibiting curing rate.SOLUTION: There is provided a cationic polymerizable resin composition containing a compound having an epoxy group, quaternary phosphonium salt represented by the following formula (1) and a potential heat acid generator other than the quaternary phosphonium salt where a mass ratio of the quaternary phosphonium salt/the potential heat acid generator other than the quaternary phosphonium salt is 0.001 to 1.
