<p>Disclosed is a touch key assembly installed in an electronic device to detect a touch of a user. According to the present invention, the touch assembly comprises: a chip mounting member including a mounting part, a protruding part provided around the mounting part to protrude upwards more than the mounting part, and a terminal part; a touch controller chip mounted on the mounting part; an upper plate mounted on the protruding part; a touch detection part formed on the upper surface of the upper plate and located on the upper part of the touch controller chip, and electrically connected to the touch controller chip; a light source installed in one side of the touch detection part to emit light toward the lateral side; and a transparent molding part for surrounding and supporting the chip mounting member, the touch controller chip, the touch detection part, and the light source in order to expose the terminal part. The present invention has effects of reducing the size of a touch key assembly by packaging the conventional touch key assembly, and improving the utilization with respect to a small electronic device thereby; and reducing the installation space in comparison with the conventional method of separating a touch key assembly from a main substrate as a touch key package can be directly mounted on a main substrate of an electronic device, and improving design freedom thereby.</p> |
